Saudamini: August Story of Empowerment

Meet Saudamini Bibhar, our August Story of Empowerment. Saudamini is from the Behera Pali village in Odisha, India, and has six members in her family.

Her husband works as a delivery boy and is the sole breadwinner. Since no one else supports the family financially except her husband, it’s difficult for them to provide even basic needs for their family.

Thankfully, Saudamini’s friend told her about her experience with One Life Movement and convinced Saudamini to join the tailoring program. Saudamini has now learned to tailor through the OLM tailoring center; because of this, she’s been able to help earn and support her family. This extra income has helped them tremendously and has helped improve their living conditions.

Saudamini thanks OLM for encouraging every student as they learn to tailor and showing her how to help improve the wellbeing of her family.
