PRESCHOOL

One Life Movement has two Preschools which are situated in the Kadeshwari Devi Hutments of Bandra (West) and the Rabale Hutments of Navi Mumbai. Our preschools are established to prepare young children as they get ready to be enrolled in good schools.

As our Learning Centers grew in number, we interacted with students of various age groups. We started to realize that the younger children were already struggling to keep up in the first and second grades. We decided that we should begin training these children well in advance so that we could set them up for success and even help place them into better schools.

We ensure that children are provided with a clean and healthy environment with toys and educational material. Our curriculum has been developed by a qualified early childcare teacher so parents can be confident of the quality of education that their child is receiving. During their time with us, we instill good habits like proper hygiene and we even monitor their health to ensure that they are not lacking in nutrition. Once a child graduates from our preschool program, our teachers help the child get admitted to a good school and guide the parents in regard to their child’s education.

One of our other focuses is to connect with the students' parents and advise them on their relationship with their child. In low-income neighborhoods, children can often be neglected by their parents for various reasons. We want to ensure that parents fully understand their role in the holistic development of their child. So, our preschool teachers help parents navigate the complex maze of parenting, thus making sure that the children at our playschool are nurtured well during their formative years.
