Our Call To Duty

The “Call To Duty” is the OneLife core set of values. It is what we believe, stand by, & persistently seek to achieve. These values are the driving force behind why we do what we do.

We Are Called To:

• Be An Uncompromising Generation: Although we will deliver the gospel in unique & creative ways, we will not taint the gospel by conforming to the standards set by the world. (Romans 12:2)

• Be Bold & Active In Our Faith: We won’t just use words that proclaim our faith, but we will boldly put into action what we speak. (James 2:26 / Romans 1:16)

• Be A Voice To The Voiceless: We will meet the physical needs of others by feeding the hungry, giving to those in need, purifying water, & fighting social injustice around the world. (James 1:27)

• Be City Lights: We will allow our lights to shine in our cities and magnify the love of Christ to those that do not know Him. (Matthew 5:14-16)

• Be Good Stewards Of Our Resources: We will have integrity with everything we have and will faithfully honor God with our giving. (Matthew 25:20-21)

• Be Better Than Good: Our efforts will not lack quality, instead we will give God our very best by creating innovative initiatives & alternatives to reach the lost and relentlessly finding ways to improve everything we do. (Colossians 3:23)

• Be The Hands & Feet Of “THE CHURCH”: We will be representatives of Christ beyond the four walls of a building and Sunday Mornings; We will go into our schools, communities, & jobs to reach those that may never step foot in a church. (Matthew 28:16-20 / Acts 1:8)

• Be Compassionate Not Confrontational: There are so many broken people in the world today that need to hear a message of hope and not hurt; we will be those hope messengers. (Colossians 3:12)

• Be Creatives Not Critics: We will not complain about whats not happening, but we will strive to create solutions for the problem. (Philippians 2:14-15)

• Be Who God Created Us To Be: We will not try to be something else by avoiding the calling on our lives, but we will acknowledge, answer, & move towards it (Jeremiah 29:11 & Ephesians 4:1)

• Be Revivalist & Revolutionaries In Our Culture: We will become a counter-culture by praying for a revival in our generation and that God will use our gifts & abilities to infiltrate & revolutionize Hip Hop, Urban, & Pop culture all for the sake of Christ. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

• Be United: We will be the catalyst in uniting our generation to build the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4: 1-16)
